I can't do that program, only fit people can do that....

I remember a few years ago sitting at work listening to some coworkers talk all about the weight someone had lost and how great she looked. This was about a year after my second child was born where I was still blaming my weight on them, and not on me and the habits I had created. I just remember thinking how I was going down a path that I had no control over, that this what was meant to be for me, and I didn't like it. I was avoiding mirrors and cameras whenever I could, I bought clothes that didn't attract attention (mostly black) so that I wouldn't stand out and I walked with my head down. This is what I would do for the rest of my life...

So a few weeks later I bumped into that coworker and I told her how great she looked - and she did. She was happier than she had ever been, I would find out later that she was about to go on a cruise with her family and couldn't wait to put a bathing suit on (who says that?) and she had more energy then she ever had before. So I asked - what's the secret, she said P90X, it saved my life!

That night I went home and looked it up online and watched the infomercial for it and sure enough, I wanted to have a body just like that! The only thing is, I didn't believe in myself and my ability to stick with a program that intense. They say the X is for eXtreme and they are right! I just knew that it would be money wasted as it would sit in the back of my closet collecting dust after the newness of possibility wore off. So I didn't buy it, it wasn't for me, I am not fit enough or strong enough for this. And instead of looking for something that would fit me better, I walked away. Head hung low in my black clothes and sulky disposition.

Does this sound like you? Have you ever considered starting a program and thought, No way man, not me - that's too intense? I was so excited to hear last month that Tony Horton, creator of P90X, P90X2 and P90X3 is now releasing P90 - the precursor to P90X. Notice there is no X... that is because this is a less eXtreme version meant for people starting their journey. This gives them the edge, preparing them for P90X when they are ready.

I have been there, I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed by the choices and trying to figure out where to start. Let me help you!  Together we will work on correcting your nutrition and finding ways for you to stay healthy and positive as you start YOUR journey with P90. Be among the first to get results, drop me an email with the subject line - P90 BRING IT!
